【1】Temperature and Humidity Sensor with Touchscreen Display (TIVA – KENTEC).
By using Tiva C Series as the “brain” for this project, temperature and humidity sensor is connected to it. Since both sensors are providing analog outputs, the data collected is processed by using ADC (Analog to Digital Converter), which later stored and displayed on the Touch Screen. Touch screen display is relatively easy to program if you understand the theory of coordination (x and y axis) which is essential to plot the graph on the display. It is important to note that number of pixels might be varied with the model of the display. Data sheets can come into handy to program the devices.
Most of the Modbus Software require some sort of fees in order to use the full version of the software. Based on my previous research on Modbus communication protocol, it became significantly important to have full control of the software in order to capture enough data for analysis. Therefore, I have developed this Modbus software and make it downloadable for free. Please also note that this software is still under development, suggestions and feedbacks are most welcomed.

【3】Altera Development and Education Board (DE1)
VHDL and Verilog can both used to program the Altera development board. Simple Voltmeter is programmed, whereby the 7-segments are showing the input voltage (4.25 V). Since this project is just for testing purpose, a potentiometer is used to vary the input voltage in order to verify the code.
Attended Freescale training to use their latest development board and MQX RTOS software, loaded sample codes to test their awesome features. On Dec 2015, NXP and Freescale announced the completion of merger. If you search for http://www.freescale.com, you will eventually be directed to http://www.nxp.com.
